That is absolutely the only thing about the paid version that is remotely worth it, and even then, once you document which waters are fishable, you don't need it. so you make a lot of trips out to places that end up being illegal to fish anyway. You also find out that a lot of people fish in areas with no trespassing signs or in HOA only ponds, etc. This is handy because I discovered some new ponds that I didn't know had fish in them based on posts people made. As long as they don't set the catch location as private it will show you the exact spot, and most people leave catch location public, I've found. If somebody takes the picture of the fish they kept back at their house, it will show up smack dab on their home, though. What this does is drastically limit the number of people that can see your exact catch location as if you're not a paid member it just shows a general area and not even the exact body of water, so you have to pay to get this info. I just cancelled it, because $6 a month is too expensive to continuously pay for the app. I did that, then forgot to cancel and it auto-renewed for 1 month ($5.99/ month).
